Valley Forge Weaponry

Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 18, 2026

1. Scope and operator

This Privacy Policy describes how Valley Forge Weaponry LLC ("Valley Forge Weaponry," "we," "us," or "our") handles information collected through valleyforgeweaponry.com, related communications, service inquiries, and product browsing experiences that start from the website.

This policy covers the public website, the contact options made available through the website, and information reasonably created when a visitor asks about gunsmith, cleaning, Cerakote, or related shop services. If you leave this site for an external storefront or third-party platform, that third party's own privacy policy also applies to information you provide there.

2. Information we may collect

  • Contact and inquiry details: name, email address, phone number, and any appointment, quote, or service details you choose to provide.
  • Communication contents: the contents of emails, contact-form drafts, phone communications, voicemails, and follow-up messages.
  • Service and shop records: information reasonably necessary to evaluate a requested service, communicate about work, prepare estimates, track recommended next steps, or document customer interactions.
  • Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, referrer information, approximate location derived from technical request data, page visits, interaction timing, and similar website usage information.
  • Browser storage data: limited browser-side information used for functional features, including cart or similar local storage if shopping features are enabled in the site experience.
  • Third-party platform data: information that may be collected by embedded maps, analytics providers, external storefronts, or social platforms when you interact with those services.

3. How information is collected

We collect information in three main ways:

  • Directly from you when you call, email, visit, or request information.
  • Automatically when your browser loads website pages, analytics scripts, maps, or other site functionality.
  • From third-party services when you choose to continue to an external storefront, use mapping tools, or interact with social or partner links.

4. How we use information

  • Respond to questions, quote requests, and service inquiries.
  • Schedule, document, and follow up on shop, cleaning, gunsmith, or Cerakote work.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website and related business workflows.
  • Understand overall traffic patterns and page usage through analytics tools.
  • Protect against misuse, fraud, unauthorized access, or unsafe conduct.
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce policies, and protect our rights.

5. Contact forms, email, and communications

The current website contact form does not submit inquiry data to a first-party website backend. Instead, when you click "Send Message," the site creates a mailto: draft in your email client using the name, email address, and message you entered. Your email provider then controls how that draft and any sent message are processed.

If you email us directly, call us, or continue a conversation after first contacting us through the website, we may retain the information necessary to respond, evaluate your request, document the interaction, and maintain ordinary business records.

6. Analytics, browser storage, cookies, and similar technologies

The website uses Vercel hosting and Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and page usage. Vercel describes its Web Analytics product as cookie-less, but hosting, analytics, and standard web requests may still involve technical metadata such as IP address, browser details, and page interactions.

The website code also includes browser-side shopping functionality that may store limited cart or similar state in your browser's local storage when those features are active. You can manage browser storage and cookies through your browser settings. Embedded or linked third-party services, including maps or external storefront tools, may use their own cookies or comparable technologies under their own policies.

7. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may disclose information in limited circumstances such as:

  • To hosting, analytics, technical, communication, or website service providers acting on our behalf.
  • To map, storefront, payment, shipping, or social platforms when you choose to use those third-party services.
  • To business partners or vendors when reasonably necessary to respond to your request or coordinate a quoted service.
  • To law enforcement, regulators, courts, or advisers when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, or legal compliance.

8. Third-party services and external destinations

This website may incorporate or link to third-party services including Google Maps, Google Maps directions, Vercel Analytics, WooCommerce or WordPress storefront destinations, Instagram, Facebook, Yelp, and Cerakote-related partner links. Those services operate independently and under their own terms and privacy practices.

If you click a product link and continue to an external storefront, any checkout, payment, fulfillment, or account information you submit there is governed by that storefront's privacy policy and terms, not this website policy alone.

9. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. The website does not currently respond to Do Not Track with a separate experience or different technical behavior. The checked-in implementation does not use known cross-context behavioral advertising tools, but third-party services may still receive technical data when their content loads.

10. Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, manage customer relationships, maintain service or business records, comply with legal, accounting, tax, safety, or dispute-resolution obligations, and protect the business. Browser-local data remains on your device until it is cleared by you, removed by your browser, or overwritten by site functionality.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we handle. No website, email transmission, hosting environment, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we do not promise absolute security.

12. Children and minors

This website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not use this website to market firearm-related products or services to minors. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can review and address the situation.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date above.
